Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll find accurate answers to the questions you care about right here.
Why are copper tubes suitable for refrigeration piping?
Because copper tubes possess the following characteristics: High thermal conductivity: facilitates efficient heat exchange between the refrigerant and the tube. Excellent sealing performance: reliable welding and flaring connections ensure minimal leakage. Superior flexibility (in the soft state): makes on-site bending and installation easy. Strong pressure resistance: capable of withstanding high-pressure refrigerants such as R410A and R32. Long-term stability: in refrigeration systems, their service life can reach 15–25 years.
What is the primary material of copper tubing? What standards does it meet?
Common materials: TP2 (phosphorus-deoxidized copper), with copper + silver content ≥ 99.90%; Domestic standards: GB/T 17791 (Seamless Copper Tubes for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), GB/T 18033 (Copper Tubes for Construction); International standards: ASTM B280 (U.S. standard), EN 1057 (European standard), JIS H3300 (Japanese standard); Condition: O60 (soft state, easy to bend) or H (hard state, used for structural support).
What should be noted when transporting and storing copper coil tubes?
Store in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, and avoid contact with corrosive substances such as acids, alkalis, and ammonia. Avoid direct sunlight and exposure to rainwater. Coils should be placed horizontally to prevent deformation. For refrigeration tubes, it is recommended to keep them in their sealed packaging to prevent internal contamination.
How do you determine the quality of a copper coil?
Appearance: Smooth surface, free of oxidation spots, scratches, and pits. Dimensional Accuracy: Outer diameter and wall thickness tolerances meet standards (e.g., ±0.05 mm). Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength 200–260 MPa, elongation ≥ 40%. Cleanliness: Inner walls free of oil stains, moisture, and impurities (especially for refrigeration tubes). Packaging: Moisture-proof film + wooden pallet or steel frame, with dustproof sealing at the ends.
What are your company’s technical advantages in threaded pipes?
Our company employs a high-precision mold system developed in-house (such as the patented technology for “molds used in the production of refrigeration copper tubes”), coupled with an automated production line, enabling us to consistently manufacture high-end products featuring fine teeth and ultra-fine threads, thereby meeting the technical requirements of leading Japanese, European, American, and domestic air-conditioning manufacturers.
Can threaded pipes be customized?
Yes, we can customize according to customer equipment requirements: special thread profiles (such as high teeth, low teeth, variable pitch), non-standard outer diameters/wall thicknesses, and surface treatments (such as pre-coated oil, clean packaging).
